In my world there are only two seasons…. Baseball and Summer. Pitchers and Catchers report to training camp in 21 days… Summer Staff report to camp in 129 days, and with a HUGE THANK YOU to you and the hundreds of friends of Camp Redwood Glen, we will have a new state of the art sports field ready to use for summer 2018. Your support to the “Give Five Campaign” and the project overall has been overwhelming and I am so excited to tell you that we’ve now secured complete and total funding for the project.
With signed permits and contracts now in hand we hope to break ground in late February (weather permitting) and have the field ready for play by the start of camp. As you have done so faithfully, would you continue to keep the timely completion of this project in your prayers and would you also pray that God would again pour out His blessing on our summer ministry to campers and staff.
I hope that you will come for a visit this summer to see the joy in the children’s faces and hear the wonderful sounds of kids at play on the new field that you have helped provide. You might even want to run the bases, kick a soccer ball, or chase a frisbee while you are here just to feel again what it was like to be a kid at camp.
Please accept once again my deepest, heartfelt thanks for your support in helping us to create this safe space and bring the reality of new field to camp.
