Summer Employment
* = required age at least 18.
Assistant Program Director- Age 21+. Assists program director with planning and scheduling of summer camp program and supervision of staff.
Christian Education Director- Age 21+. Plans daily chapel, schedules campfire devotions, guides counselors in the planning and delivery of cabin devotions, and plans weekly staff devotions and small group activities.
Assistant Christian Education Director- Assists the Christian Education Director with chapel time, devotions, campfire programs and other related activities.
*SURF TEAM Lead- Age 21+. Responsible for discipleship program serving teens 14 and 15 years old.
*Maintenance Crew Chief- Work with and supervise the maintenance crew which includes giving work assignments, planning and preparing devotions and other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Maintenance Crew- Age 16 & 17 Positions rotate between the dining hall, maintenance, and housekeeping.
*Dining Room Hostess- Work with and supervise the waitresses in the Dining Room which includes giving work assignments, planning and preparing devotions and other tasks as assigned by the Food Service Manager.
Waitress- Duties include serving all meals and snack, cleaning dining room, and other tasks assigned by the Dining Room Hostess.
*Archery & Target Sport Specialist- Current certification required. Plan and implement a safe program to teach campers the basics of archery and sling shot safety and shooting.
Canteen/ Program Assistant- Responsible for operating and maintaining the café and canteen.
Camp Secretary- Responsible for all summer camp office activity.
*Craft Specialist- Responsible for maintaining an exciting and interesting camp craft program.
*Health Care Manager- Age 21+. Responsible for the health and safety of all persons on camp. RN, LPN, EMT, or MD is required as well as current CPR and First Aid certification.
*Unit Leader (one male and one female)- Preferably age 21+. The head counselor lends support to the counseling staff and the various programs on camp. This person should have camp counseling experience. Unit Lleaders are required to be First Aid and CPR certified.
*Counselor- Counselors are required to live with the children day and night. This person needs to have a personal Christian commitment and desire to work with children ages 7-16. Counselors are required to be First Aid and CPR certified.
Jr. Counselor- Assists Counselor and Unit Leader with cabin groups and unit activities. This person needs to have a personal Christian commitment and desire to work with children ages 7-16. Jr. Counselors are required to be First Aid and CPR certified.
*Waterfront Director- Age 21+. The waterfront director is responsible for the supervision and the maintenance of the pool. Must be advanced life saving and WSI certified.
Lifeguard- Responsible for the supervision and cleaning of the pool and must be advanced life saving, First Aid, and CPR certified.
*Naturalist- Responsible to plan and implement a program to teach Campers about God's creation. Must be able to write age appropriate lessons that incorporate experiential learning.
*Outdoor Adventure Camp Staff- Use God's creation as a vehicle to create experiences where teen campers find Jesus through backpacking, small group living, and the Bible.
*Small Animal Farm Specialist- Responsible for planning and implementing a program to teach campers about small farm animals (pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, etc.) and gardening.
